Our club organizes service events to assist our community and our various charitable partners. We welcome guests not only at our meetings, but also at our volunteer events. If you’d like to attend a meeting or volunteer with us, please email us at gfwc.roswellcares@gmail.com today.
By joining us, you will have the opportunity to work with others to improve the social, cultural and physical needs in your city or town. In so doing, you will meet and make new friends, expand your knowledge of the needs in your community, and become a better citizen of your community.
If you’d like to donate items, below is a list of items we are currently collecting. Please reach out to a club member to make arrangements for a drop off location near you. All GFWC GA Clubs are accepting the below items.
- Gently used Dr. Seuss books to be collected and donated to our local shelters
- GFWC GA will pack the pantry to assist Ronald McDonald Houses throughout Georgia – we are collecting: laundry detergent, paper towels, Clorox wipes, individually wrapped snacks, individual packages of macaroni and cheese and ramen, coffee grounds/k cups, and queen sized neutral fleece blankets.
- We would like to collect 1,000 pairs of used tennis/rubber soled shoes for the Nike Reuse program. Shoes are recycled and made into playgrounds and other items. Other non-rubber soled shoes donated will be donated to Soles 4 Souls.
