Roswell Cares loves working with children, as our work at CHOA shows, and we love the holidays. That’s why we’re excited to support Clark’s Christmas Kids this year! We’re assisting the with recruiting volunteers and lending a hand to bring holiday joy to children across Georgia. In November, volunteers can help receive, sort, and organize toys at the warehouse. During the holiday season, they can also fill Christmas wish lists and pack gifts for delivery across the state. Sign up below—we’d love to have you join us!
For 36 years, Clark’s Christmas Kids has had the mission of ensuring that every child in the Georgia foster care system has at least one gift on Christmas day. Shoppers can attend live events in Walmart locations in the metro Atlanta area to purchase gifts from a child’s wish list or shop virtually. Many have made shopping for these precious children a holiday tradition. This year we are excited to host three Atlanta Walmart events for those that would like to shop in person.
Clarks Christmas Kids has secured a warehouse located at 4380 International Parkway in Atlanta. That’s right—a giant warehouse with over 30,000 toys. It is a magical place and a meaningful volunteer opportunity—knowing you are making the life of a kid in foster care special on Christmas morning.
We need volunteers for the warehouse. The November volunteers will accept toy deliveries and help set up the warehouse like a “store”. The December volunteers will pick orders and fulfill Wish Lists and help at the Walmart in store events.
